Baby Shower Decoration Ideas

We recently had a baby shower for my daughter and I was in charge of decorations.  Since the party was not at my house, I had to make sure the decorations were simple and easy to hang (painter’s tape and washi tape was a life saver)  I used my Silhouette to cut the decorations and party ideas out.  It was a great way to use up some paper out of my paper packs.  Since this was a couples shower, we didn’t want to overwhelm the men with pink, so we used grays and oranges mixed with a hint of baby pink.  We used some tags that I made by using a Gelly Roll pen in the blade/pen holder.  The guests wrote advise on them and we hung them on a line of twine.  The Baby Girl sign was drawn with my machine with a Gelly Roll pen.

Drinks Anyone?

I love to doodle. I love to color. I doodled these drinks, colored them, then scanned into my computer so I could print copies and make some cards. I’m pretty happy with how they came out, especially on the first try.

I took it one step further and used some leftover drinks that I cut out. What better thing to do with them? Put them on a drink stand. I think this card is “Sweet”!

Vintage Camping

I would like to own a refurbished old camper someday. There is something about the simplicity entwined with the caring construction of pride that appeals to me. For now, I’ll sit and look at the one I just painted on a 1 ½” rock. I may add some more detail but for now it just makes me smile:)
